How To Enable Developer Mode & Find A Discord Role ID
PC
Step 1. Activate Developer Mode (If already activated skip this step)
- Click the "User Settings" button near your profile picture (gear icon).
- Scroll down the left sidebar and click on "Advanced".
- At the top of the page, toggle "Developer Mode" to turn it on.
- You have successfully activated Developer Mode!
Step 2. Find A Role ID
- Open your server settings (click the dropdown next to the server name).
- Click on "Roles" in the left sidebar.
- Find the role you want the ID for, right-click it, and select "Copy Role ID".
- To get the ID for @everyone, click the role list first and then right-click the @everyone role.
- The Role ID is now copied to your clipboard.
You can now paste this into a required command or in the Better Bot dashboard!
Mobile
Step 1. Activate Developer Mode (If already activated skip this step)
- Tap your profile picture (usually in the bottom right) to access your user profile.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the "App Settings" section and tap "Advanced".
- At the top of the page, toggle "Developer Mode" on.
- You have successfully activated Developer Mode!
Step 2. Find A Role ID
- Ensure the role you want the ID for is assigned to you.
- Tap into any channel within your server.
- Tap the channel name at the top and locate your username (or another user's with the desired role).
- Tap the role name to copy the Role ID to your clipboard.
- The Role ID is now copied to your clipboard.
- To get the ID for @everyone, use the command
/info role role: everyone
.
You can now paste this into a required command or in the Better Bot dashboard!
